Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences has around 150 partner universities all over the world - in almost all EU countries, but also in the USA, Australia, Taiwan and Korea, for example. Stays abroad in the form of an internship or a semester abroad enable students to acquire a wide range of intercultural skills. The stays abroad can be recognized with credit or on a voluntary basis as an additional semester.

Study Sustainability Management in the Master's program in Ludwigshafen
The city of Ludwigshafen is located in the middle of the metropolitan area Rhine-Neckar with around 160,000 companies (including 10 of the 100 largest listed companies such as BASF, SAP, Roche, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, HeidelbergCement, KSB or Fuchs Petrolub, many medium-sized companies, hidden champions and innovative start-ups), 800,000 employees and a gross value added of over 62 billion euros.
The region is home to a large number of research and scientific institutions: 23 universities and colleges and more than 30 renowned research institutes (European Molecular Biology Laboratory, four Max Planck Institutes, German Cancer Research Center, Center for European Economic Research).
In addition to an excellent infrastructure with around 240 long-distance departures daily & good public transport, 8 freeways in the immediate vicinity and only 30 minutes to Frankfurt International Airport, the region also offers a wide range of cultural and leisure activities with more than 230 museums, 110 theaters and many concerts and festivals, four UNESCO World Heritage Sites, over 120 castles and palaces and three nature parks.

3-semester on-campus course with 10 compulsory modules and the Master's thesis in the 3rd semester (lecture times Monday - Saturday).

admisson requirements
Completed degree in economics or a comparable subject (business studies component at least 30%) with 210 ECTS and a minimum grade of 2.5.
As some of the courses are held in English, knowledge of English at level B2 is recommended.
Studies not yet completed by the application deadline
Examination for students who have not yet completed their studies
If you have not yet completed your studies by the application deadline, you can apply if you have no more than 30 ECTS outstanding.
In accordance with Section 19 (3) of the Higher Education Act in conjunction with Section 2 (3) of the General Examination Regulations and Section 2 (3) of the Special Examination Regulations of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society as amended, anyone who has not yet successfully completed a Bachelor's degree program or an equivalent/related degree, but who can guarantee that they will obtain the degree within one semester of enrolling in the Master's degree program, may also be admitted to a consecutive Master's degree program.
In this case, enrollment is conditional. Enrolment expires if the missing qualifications are not proven by the end of the first semester at the latest. The final examination takes place after the end of the first semester.
We therefore recommend that you make an appointment with Ms. Stephanie Haider-Sandel (0621/5203-157 or by e-mail) before you apply. This will allow us to clarify in advance whether you will meet the admission requirements at the end of your Bachelor's degree.

Admisson requirements for a Bachelor's degree with 180 ECTS
We offer applicants with a Bachelor's degree of 180 ECTS the opportunity to make up the missing 30 ECTS before registering for the Master's thesis.
A binding study agreement (vSV) must be concluded with the head of degree program so that you can make up the missing 30 ECTS.
Please print out the application form and submit it to Ms. Stephanie Haider-Sandel (stephanie.haider-sandel@hwg-lu.de) together with all required documents (certificates, official job description, other confirmations, etc.).
