Declaration on accessibility in accordance with the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance Rhineland-Palatinate (BITV RP) of 03.06.2019

In accordance with Section 1 (2) BITV RP in conjunction with Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of the Commission of the European Union of 11.10.2018 (L256/105), the following declaration on accessibility is made:

2.       Status of compliance with accessibility requirements

The website https://www.hwg-lu.de and the associated mobile applications are partially compatible with accessibility requirements.
 

3.       Non-accessible content

• It does not have an easy-to-read version.
• It does not have a version in sign language.
• Alternative texts and meaningful link texts are still being added in places.
• Videos generally do not have subtitles.
• Keyboard operability not guaranteed throughout

The assessment procedure in accordance with Section 4 BITV and Article 5 (2) of DIRECTIVE (EU) 2016/2102 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of October 26, 2016 was carried out. The assessment has shown that updating the functions of the existing website is uneconomical because it would incur enormous costs. When the website is relaunched, the missing accessible elements will be included.

Until the HWG LU website is relaunched, work will continue on reasonable and affordable measures to optimize accessibility.
