We are currently experiencing a tremendous change in the world of work - driven by digitization with its many facets. The term "Arbeitswelt 4.0" ("Working World 4.0") was the first fundamental look at the requirements and possible characteristics of the future working world. In the meantime, the focus has shifted to transformation processes in the context of the digital and the consequences for the economy and society.
How will we work in the future?
Although "new work" may seem like a newfangled buzzword, it is worth taking a closer look at the approach behind it. The innovations in the world of work are becoming a key social issue. Answers are sought to unclear perspectives:
- How will the system of work change?
- What will be the significance of skills and professions in the future?
Against this background, we want to engage in a productive exchange with our former and current students as well as welcome other guests at the alumni event of the winter semester 2019/20 on the basis of content-related impulses on "New Work". The aim is to record perceptions and experiences from practice and also to address concrete questions:
- From a practical perspective, what is needed to make companies and their workforce "future-proof" in the context of digitalization?
- Can experiences and examples be found that can be transferred?
- How can those involved network profitably?
We cordially invite our alumni as well as students and the interested public to this event and look forward to exciting exchange and good discussions!
