In March 2019, the new course "Design Thinking" by Prof. Dr. Martin Selchert of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society started. In this course, six teams of students from the master's program in business informatics work on real-life tasks from companies in the chemical or healthcare sectors. They apply the design thinking methodology to creatively develop innovative solutions to non-trivial challenges.
The new 5-HT Digital Qualifier program of the Digital Hub Mannheim/Ludwigshafen Chemie & Gesundheit - in cooperation with SAP Next-Gen - combines the creative potential of students with real-life tasks from challenge providers. The Digital Hub thus links the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society and the business community to open doors for both sides.
The students work directly with users in the company. They are supported by a project sponsor from the respective company and Prof. Dr. Martin Selchert.
Companies can achieve valuable results, students can gain important experience and further contacts between companies and students are established.
The "Design Thinking" program takes place annually from March to June as a joint effort between the Digital Hub and the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society: If you are interested, get in touch and we can formulate your idea together in a Design Challenge.
You too can become a challenge donor and benefit from
- Innovative solutions from students
- Contact to young talents
- Increase of your visibility
- Uncomplicated processing of your own challenges
- Collaboration with other companies and research institutions
