🎓 Start of studies:
Let's go in the winter semester 2025/26! We strongly recommend that you take part in the induction week from September 22 to 26, 2025 - here you will get to know your fellow students, the campus and the most important procedures.
💶 Tuition fees? None!
Studying at the HWG LU is free of charge. There is only a semester fee of currently around €145 - this covers you for local public transport and student services, among other things.

🏫 Learning in person - with digital supplements
Most classes take place on campus. Selected courses are also offered online to offer you the greatest possible flexibility.

Our campus is centrally located in Ludwigshafen am Rhein (Ernst-Boehe-Str. 4-6). You can reach us easily by public transport - or travel by car: There are plenty of parking spaces available.

Semester 1 & 2:
- Intensive German lessons in small groups (target: C1 level)
- Supplementary: English-language lectures on the introduction to logistics
- Acquisition of first ECTS points for the Bachelor's degree program
Semesters 3 to 7:
- Continuation of logistics studies in German
- Small learning groups and close supervision
- Practice-oriented projects with companies from the region
- Free of tuition fees

Application & Admission
Admission requirements for the logistics degree program
To be able to apply for the program, you need:
- A qualification for university entrance equivalent to the German Abitur
- German language skills of at least B2 level
- English language skills of at least B2 level
For all applicants who meet the formal requirements, the HWG LU carries out a placement test to check their German level.
