What actually happens behind the scenes at one of Europe's most important institutions? The students of the HWG Ludwigshafen asked themselves this question when they visited the European Central Bank on June 10, 2024. Under the guidance of lecturer Eric A. Reynaud, a group of students from the fields of International Human Resources Management, Business Psychology and Marketing set off to combine the theoretical content of the economics lectures with practical experience.
The lecture on the ECB's current monetary policy was a particular highlight. In an exciting and easy-to-understand lecture, the students gained deep insights into the complex interrelationships of monetary policy and learned how the ECB is trying to ensure the stability of the eurozone. The subsequent discussion gave the students the opportunity to put their questions directly to the expert.
