In small units as in large organizations, complex, interdisciplinary problems cannot always be solved intuitively. Systematic planning requires the coordination of all necessary system elements required to fulfill a defined task; it reduces the risk of a wrong decision. Project management is therefore indispensable in the planning and control of development projects today. Increasing productivity and shorter lead times are the premises, also and above all in the service sector.

Project management is also becoming increasingly important in the planning of social events and private functions such as company anniversaries, weddings, etc.

In addition to traditional methods, participants will also learn about interesting newer approaches such as "evolutionary project management" and how to apply them using case studies.
