The lively graduating class of 1973 organized a reunion in Worms in October to celebrate its 50th anniversary. As Klaus Reinhard, who maintains contact with the alumni office, reported, the "hard core" of the graduating class came together almost completely, with two participants even traveling from Spain and the USA.
The former fellow students met on October 13 in Worms, from where they crossed the Rhine to nearby Bürstadt. One of them had held the office of mayor there for many years. After a tour of the town, including a visit to the town hall, they returned to Worms in the evening, where they ended the day in a restaurant on the banks of the Rhine.
The following Saturday, the group explored the Nibelungen and Luther city together and also paid a visit to Herrnsheim Castle Park in the afternoon. In the evening, the reunion was duly celebrated in a Worms pub. The "alumni champagne" donated by a fellow student to mark the 50th anniversary was particularly well received.
