Last week, Minister Clemens Hoch, who recently took over the Ministry of Science and Health, paid his inaugural visit to our university.
After the Presidential Board had explained the profile and strategy of HWG LU to the visitor from Mainz, a tour of the campus was on the agenda. The Minister used the stops at the new building, the Skills Lab for Midwifery and Nursing, which is currently under construction, the Rhine-Neckar Graduate School, the Department of Studies and Education including the Writing Lab and the Institute for Management and Innovation (IMI) to gain a brief overview of as many topics as possible within the range of services offered by HWG LU and to get to know some of the people involved. He also found time to hold talks with the staff council, student representatives and committee members.
