Holger Roßberg, research associate at the Center for Research and Cooperation (ZFK) at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society (HWG LU), has been an associate member of the FUTURE AGING research center at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences since November 2020. There, the focus is on the development and testing of assistive technologies, robotics and technology-enabled services for independent living, housing and working, also taking into account ethical issues and legal challenges.
For researchers at HWG LU, the cooperation opens up a better networking and connection of university-owned research activities in this field. Furthermore, the cooperation is a first step towards lived practice-oriented interdisciplinarity between these two universities. "With the cooperation now started in the person of Holger Roßberg, we hope to have planted a tender seed for future starting points of a joint, mutually beneficial research activity between Frankfurt and Ludwigshafen," says ZFK Director Prof. Dr. Marcus Sidki with pleasure.
