The Bachelor's degree programs "International Business Administration with a focus on Management" (BIM) and "Business Administration with a focus on Management, Controlling and Information" achieve top positions in this year's ranking of the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) and ZEIT in the areas of "General study situation" and "Study organization".
The Department of Management, Controlling and HealthCare at Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society (HWG LU) once again took part in a nationwide comparison this year and participated in the renowned university ranking by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) and ZEIT. The results for Bachelor's degree courses published on Tuesday show: The Department's degree programs are well placed! "Our Department attaches great importance to giving all students a good start to their studies, regardless of whether they come to us with an Abitur, a professional qualification or another degree. A successful start to your studies makes an important contribution to your academic success. For this reason, we offer various measures to effectively support students. The very good assessment by the students shows that we are on the right track here. We are very pleased!" says the Dean of the Management, Controlling, HealthCare Department, Prof. Dr. Eveline Häusler. The two Bachelor's degree programmes "International Business Administration with a focus on Management" (BIM) and "Business Administration with a focus on Management, Controlling and Information" (BMC) even belong to the top group in the "Study Organization" and "General Study Situation" categories.
The range of courses, digital teaching elements, study organization, examination organization, technical and organizational support, support from lecturers, support at the start of studies and IT equipment were all rated as very good with four stars or better. Support for stays abroad, the practical phase, the practical orientation of the education and learning content and career orientation were also ranked in the top range.
The dual Bachelor's programme "Health Economics in Practice" (GiP) was also rated as having a very good general study situation as well as study and examination organization. The students also praise the support they receive when starting their studies, the professional and organizational support during their studies and the good IT equipment in the Department.
DIE ZEIT published the latest results of the university ranking by the Center for Higher Education Development (CHE) on May 9, 2023 in the ZEIT Study Guide 2023/24 and on HeyStudium. In addition to facts in the areas of study, education and research, the ranking includes students' opinions on the study conditions at their university. With around 120,000 students surveyed, the CHE University Ranking has been the most comprehensive and detailed comparison of universities in the German-speaking world for 25 years now.
