On Sunday, December 8, our e-sports community had the honor of presenting itself at the infamous NNO Cup. The focus was on the well-known game "League of Legends", which is particularly popular in the competitive e-sports scene. Also present were the well-known League of Legends streamers and members of NNO (No Need Orga) Tolkin, Agurin, Noway, Karni and Broeki, who cast the final of the NNO Cup live on stage and were also available for a meet & greet.
There were also several stands to discover. Among others from #basfgaming, BASF Career, ERN (E-Sports Rhein-Neckar) and Nyfter. Our HWG e-sports community was also represented with a stand and was able to introduce itself. The program included gaming stations, a wheel of fortune, sweets and a League of Legends quiz.
During the event, visitors to the NNO Cup had the chance to win a spin on the wheel of fortune by winning 1:1 matches at the gaming stations or by answering quiz questions in order to win one of the coveted main prizes.
There were great Funko Pop figures from the newly released Arcane series or a signed T-shirt from NNO to be won, which was of course a highly coveted prize on the evening.
Overall, the event attracted a very large number of visitors and was a real highlight for every League of Legends fan. Incidentally, the NNO Cup was won by the team "Los Rattones", who made the crowd cheer with their triumphant 3:1 victory.
The HWG E-Sports stand also enjoyed a high number of visitors, with almost 900 guests, and was well attended throughout the evening.
We would like to thank the #basfgaming community and the staff of the Feierabendhaus for this unforgettable experience and are already looking forward to more events!
