On Friday, November 17, 2023, this year's graduates of the dual degree programs Viticulture & Oenology, the dual German-French Master's degree program Viticulture & Oenology and the part-time MBA Wine, Sustainability & Sales were bid farewell in a festive setting at the Herrenhof in Mußbach. In addition to the newly graduated alumni and their families, the almost 200 guests also included representatives from the university, politics and business.

In addition to the presentation of certificates to the 51 graduates, the guests were treated to two wine tastings by Vera Keller and Lara Karr as well as a gin tasting with Anna Plorin, who wrote her bachelor's thesis on the production of a Palatinate gin. At the heart of the celebrations were the awards for outstanding academic achievements and the presentation of scholarships. Scott Sheridan from the MBA Wine, Sustainability & Sales was awarded the "Best MBA Graduate" prize donated by VR Bank Südpfalz. The prize for the "Best Master's Thesis FAVO", donated by Scharfenberger GmbH and a magnum bottle of Sauternes from Georg Lenhardt and the Laffort company, went to Jeanne Laforge. Lea Lechner's academic achievements were recognized by the Soroptimist Club Frankenthal scholarship, which was presented to her by 1st Vice President Kerstin Sauer. Nadine Schuster and Jana Beck from the Bachelor of Viticulture & Oenology received the commitment award donated by Braun Maschinenbau GmbH, which was presented by the student council of the wine campus.
