The career fair at Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society (HWG LU) once again brought together students, school pupils, companies and social institutions in 2021 - this year for the first time virtually via the "talentefinder" app.
Yesterday, the HWG LU job fair took place as a virtual format for the first time: 25 companies and social institutions presented themselves as potential employers to young talents.
The virtual career fair brought students together with companies and institutions via the web-based "talentefinder" app: Exhibitors presented themselves there with their company profiles and job offers - permanent positions, trainee programs, internships, working student activities or practice-oriented theses - in advance of the day of the fair. The applicants also created profiles in advance. Exhibitors and young talents could then browse through the profiles of the other group and "like" them if they were interested. Mutual "likes" resulted in a "match", on the basis of which a video call was then arranged for the day of the virtual event. The offer on the day of the fair was supplemented by company presentations. Among others, the training partner BBQ of the Bildungswerk der baden-württembergischen Wirtschaft, the training institute IFKV, the personnel service provider univativ, the auditing and tax consulting firm Schüllermann & Partner, tecis Finanzdienstleistungen AG, BASF SE as the world's largest chemical company, the Frankfurt am Main Regional Tax Office, the management consultancy ISD FENIQS, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen and the personnel service provider Randstad introduced themselves.
