As part of the course "Portfolio and Capital Market Theory" of Prof. Dr. Hehn's degree programs in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, a joint practical event with the Mainz University of Applied Sciences, Department of Economics, took place via Zoom on April 26, 2021.
Dr. Thorsten Koch (Group COO of Deutsche Bank AG) gave a lecture on the topic: "Challenges and the current situation in the banking market and the valuation in this sector in the area of tension between the interest rate environment, capital requirements and innovative, digitally oriented competitors" and also spoke about the future of working in the financial sector in and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The students from both universities were thus able to gain a very interesting insight into the current world of finance and benefit directly from the guest speaker's outstanding expertise.
Thanks to the digital possibilities, it was possible to hold the guest lecture across "university borders" without any problems, emphasizes Stefanie Hehn with delight.
