HIT 2024: Good response to information day

Around 400 prospective students took advantage of HWG LU's University Information Day (HIT) on Saturday, June 8, to find out more about Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences and the courses it offers and to take a look at the new campus. and take a look at the new campus.

Whether marketing, business psychology, international business management, sustainability, human resources management, logistics, business informatics, viticulture & oenology or health economics, social work, nursing, nursing education or midwifery - around 400 prospective students took advantage of the HWG LU's University Information Day (HIT) on Saturday, June 8, to find out about the wide range of courses offered by the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences in business administration, social and health careand to take a look at the new campus.

At information stands, visitors were able to find out about the more than 40 Bachelor's and Master's degree courses, dual programs and further education and training opportunities at HWG LU and its Graduate School (GSRN), clarify open questions about application and admission or put out feelers in advance for a semester abroad. In taster lectures and information presentations, lecturers also gave an insight into everyday university life and teaching content. Anyone who wanted to talk to students in a more informal setting could enjoy cool drinks and snacks in the Students Lounge. The guided tours of the newly designed campus and the recently opened new building (Building C) with its spacious library rooms, classrooms and workstations were particularly popular with guests.

Hands-on activities such as the humanoid robot Pepper, the age simulation suit and the wheel of fortune also met with great interest from visitors.

Applications for the winter semester 2024/2025 are possible for most degree programs until 15 July 2024.
