In October 2021, probably from October 8 to 10, 2021, the next start-up hackathon "iHack RLP" of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society (HWG LU) will take place in cooperation with the State Association for Energy and Water Management Hesse/Rhineland-Palatinate (LDEW) as an online/hybrid event.
After the successful implementation in fall 2020, there is an opportunity for new participants and enthusiasts to get involved.Under the motto: "Start New Hackathon", new ways are possible to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit and shape the future!
The iHack RLP Start-up Hackathon is a mixture of Start-up Weekend and IT Hackathon, in which teams develop ideas for business models within 60 hours. Students can gain their first experiences as entrepreneurs and develop them further with the cooperating institutions.
Mentors provide specialist support on the topics of the start-up hackathon or the business model canvas. New cooperating companies present challenges from their business field. Interested parties can contact us directly by email at ihack-rlp@hwg-lu.de directly by e-mail.
The thematic focus of the challenges is on urban infrastructure for smart cities and digital villages. Mobility, climate and health are topics that we would like to drive forward. For example, through ideas for the smart networking of sharing systems, the visualization of charging infrastructure, climate-friendly mobility concepts or the development of citizen-oriented participatory campaigns to protect the environment. Sustainability aspects should be taken into account when developing the business models.
The iHack RLP - University Start-up Hackathon on Infrastructure is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture (MWVLW).
