In 2021, the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society (HWG LU) is celebrating its 50th anniversary and is kicking off the summer semester with an interdisciplinary and international online lecture series under the motto "We shape the future - for 50 years!".
2021 marks the 50th anniversary of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society - after all, the universities of applied sciences in Rhineland-Palatinate were founded in 1971.
For the HWG LU, this means: "We shape the future - for 50 years!" Under this motto, the university is offering an exciting interdisciplinary and an international online lecture series with selected partner universities for university members and the interested public in the anniversary year.
The international lectures are funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
The anniversary series starts on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 4 p.m. with the topic "The Pandemic Recession in Historical Perspective." The exciting guest lecture will be held in English by Ben Kyer, Professor of Economics at Francis Marion University in South Carolina, USA.
All lectures in the anniversary series are free of charge and open to all interested parties; registration is required for organizational reasons
