Experience the future of work in HWG LU's new experimental rooms

With the "Wellenwerk" and the "Ideenwald", the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society (HWG LU) has had two exceptional new spaces since this spring. They have been furnished according to scientific findings on the topic of New Work, offer optimal conditions for innovative, creative and collaborative meeting and workshop formats and can also be used by people from outside the university.

From design thinking and future workshops to agile innovation sprints - thanks to their creative and dynamic environment, the new HWG LU experimentation rooms make it particularly easy to develop new ideas, work collaboratively and leave entrenched thought structures behind. Equipped according to "New Work" principles, the two rooms in the B building offer space for up to 15 and 25 people respectively.

The concept was implemented by the university-affiliated Institute for Employment and Employability (IBE), which researches the working world of tomorrow. The funding for this comes from the BMBF-funded joint project EMPOWER.

"New Work needs spaces that enable openness, creativity and cooperation. With the Wellenwerk and the Ideenwald, we are creating precisely these conditions at the HWG LU - and bringing the future of work to life," explains Prof. Dr. Jutta Rump, who heads the Institute for Employment and Employability.

The first events have already taken place in the new experimental rooms; further events, including public ones, are planned. The "Wellenwerk" and the "Ideenwald" can be booked and used not only by members of the university, but are also available free of charge for formats organized by external organizations and companies.
