At an information meeting in Ludwigshafen's Walzmühle mill, Environment Minister Ulrike Höfken learned about the status of current climate protection projects.
Prof. Dr. Joachim Alexander, Climate Protection Officer of the city and Head of the Department of Urban Surveying and Urban Renewal, explained the results of the "KlimaQuartier Ludwigshafen" project, in which energy-efficient refurbishment in Ludwigshafen South has been driven forward since March 2017 via the KfW funding program 432.
Philipp Tachkov, project manager at the Institute for Management and Innovation (IMI) at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society, reported on interim results of the EU-funded project "Climate-friendly Employee Mobility," in which employee needs are being investigated in cooperation with companies, municipal administrations and other partners with a view to further developing climate-friendly mobility options.
