Jörg Alt is a philosopher, theologian, sociologist and activist. He works as a university chaplain and is an employee of the Jesuit Ukama Center for Social-Ecological Transformation in Nuremberg. He is involved in activist contexts, for example together with Fridays For Future, the Last Generation and the Wir Transformieren Bayern alliance. In his transformation trilogy Handelt! (2020), Just get started! (2021) and Resistance! (2022) and many other publications, he develops his thoughts on socio-ecological transformation.
