Principles for good employment conditions
As a place of education and research, universities occupy a special position in society. By dovetailing science and society, they have a role model function. They should also live up to this claim in terms of employment conditions.
In recent years, the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society has focused on improving employment conditions. In addition to the implementation of strategic personnel development and occupational health management, the university's mission statement and the management and service principles of the central units were developed and adopted jointly by employees and managers. The mission statement and the management and service principles form the basis for the employment conditions at our university.
In 2015, "good employment conditions" were discussed with the Staff Council and a working group. These conditions of employment were adopted as a voluntary commitment by the university management and managers in academia and administration. Implementation and realization is planned for the coming years.
