What is the onSet language test

• The onSET is an online test that measures your general language skills in German or English.
• The onSET rating is based on the CEFR and is proof of your language competence, e.g. for employers.
• You will know your language level immediately after the test. The test lasts a maximum of 40 minutes.
• The onSET makes it easier for you to find the learning group that matches your language level. This increases your learning success.
• You can assess your chances of success in language examinations such as the TestDaF. The TestDaF is required for admission to university.
• The onSET certificate is important for your application for a DAAD scholarship.

On 29.1.2025 the replacement date for 22.1.2025 will take place from 14.00 to 15.00.

After that, the appointments will always take place on the first and third Wednesday of the month:

The tests all take place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
