As an IT specialist you will perform a wide range of tasks, such as

Previous education:
For training as an IT specialist, you should have a good degree from the Mittlere Reife (secondary school leaving certificate) or an equivalent educational qualification.
Duration of training:
Training as an IT specialist takes 3 years.

The annual holiday entitlement is 30 working days.
Theoretical training:
Theoretical training takes place 1 - 2 times a week at the Berufsbildende Schule Technik I in Ludwigshafen.
Practical training:
The practical training takes place in the team of the computer center of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society. You will be closely involved in the various tasks of the computer center in the context of education, research and administration. You will additionally have the opportunity to participate in projects during your training.
Exams:
- Intermediate examination in the 2nd year
- Final examination at the end of the training (IHK examination)
