As an IT specialist you will perform a wide range of tasks, such as

Previous education:
For training as an IT specialist, you should have a good degree from the Mittlere Reife (secondary school leaving certificate) or an equivalent educational qualification.
Duration of training:
Training as an IT specialist takes 3 years.
Training allowance/vacation:

The annual holiday entitlement is 30 working days.
Theoretical training:
The theoretical training takes place 1 - 2 times a week at the Berufsbildende Schule Technik I in Ludwigshafen.
Practical training:
Practical training takes place in the IT Service Center team at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society. You will be closely involved in the various tasks of the IT Service Center in the areas of education, research and administration. You will also have the opportunity to work on projects during your training.
Examinations:
- Intermediate examination in the 2nd year
- Final examination at the end of the apprenticeship (IHK examination)
