Student and research assistants
If you are interested in gaining
- gainexperience in science and research alongside your studiesand
- to combine lectures and working hours in the best possible way,
then working as a student or research assistant is the right thing for you.
You will be paid for the hours you work at an hourly rate that depends on your qualifications:
- 13.25 € / hour - without a degree
- 13.65 € / hour - with a Bachelor's degree
- 18.54 € / hour - with a Master's degree

Lecturer
If you are interested in gaining experience
- gainingexperience in education (e.g. in preparation for a professorship),
- pass on your knowledge and skills and
- maintain contact with the university and academia ,
then a teaching assignment is the right thing for you.
To supplement our range of courses, we award teaching assignments to independent lecturers from the field.
- Teaching assignments are awarded on a semester basis.
- The maximum number of hours of education is 6 semester hours per week and is usually completed in 14 semester weeks.
- Additional time may be required during examination periods.
You will be paid for the hours worked at an hourly rate that depends on your qualifications:
- 23 € / SWS - other part-time teachers
- 30 € / SWS - with a degree from a scientific or comparable university or comparable qualification (Bachelor)
- 40 € / SWS - with a degree from a scientific or comparable university and pedagogical aptitude (Master)
- 46 € / SWS - in individual cases and if the course is particularly important
