The HWG LU's Theater Initiative offers students from all departments and HWG LU staff the opportunity to try their hand at acting.

Playing theater is incredibly fun and a great group experience. It is also a fun way to train your creativity and body language, effective performance and verbal expression.

In addition to the basics of theater acting, the group rehearses a play together over two semesters, which will then be performed at HWG LU at the end of 2022. In the summer semester 2022, the play will be selected, the casting, lots of improvisation and initial work on the play will take place. In the winter semester 2022/2023, the group will go into scenic work and plan the performances at the end of the semester. 

Who can take part?

All students and employees of the HWG LU who want to play and help shape theater. No previous experience is required. It is possible to join as a player until mid-April each year. Anyone interested in costumes, stage design and stage technology can join at any time.
