At the beginning of the summer semester, Prof. Dr. Elmar Günther will take over as Dean of Department II. Following the resignation of Prof. Dr. Klaus Blettner, Prof. Dr. Günther was unanimously elected to this office at the Departments' election meeting on 17 December. We congratulate Prof. Günther on his election and wish him every success in his new role.
At the same time, we would like to thank Prof. Blettner for his many years of dedicated and successful work as Dean and for his valuable contributions to the development of the Department and the University during this time. We wish him all the best for his future plans.
