Internationals welcome! Our new Logistics B.A. incl. German course

In the winter semester 2025/26, HWG LU is launching a special course for international students with an interest in logistics: in seven semesters (standard period of study), prospective students can obtain their Bachelor's degree in logistics and significantly improve their German language skills at the same time.

It starts with two semesters of intensive German courses in small groups (target: C1 German level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). At the same time, the internationals take part in English-language lectures in which they collect their first ECTS for the Logistics B.A.

From semester 3, the focus is on German-language logistics studies. The declared aim of this program is to qualify international students both professionally and linguistically so that they can seamlessly transition into the job market in the metropolitan area Rhine-Neckar after graduation. "We are convinced that a good command of the German language is an essential prerequisite for the medium and long-term integration of our international students into the job market in the metropolitan area Rhine-Neckar. For this reason, we have decided - unlike many universities - to offer a German-language course with intensive language support," says Prof. Dr. Edith Rüger-Muck, Vice President for International Affairs & Communication at HWG LU.

Another important building block for the long-term retention of future graduates in the metropolitan area Rhine-Neckar is the high level of practical relevance that characterizes all degree programs at HWG LU: Up-to-date course content, practice-oriented projects and lecturers from a wide range of industries and institutions create early contacts in the business world and thus facilitate the transition from studying to working life.
