What our alumni say

Franziska Mariel Emmert, BASF SE:

"2 years ago, I compared different MBA programs and finally decided on the MBA program at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society. Today I can confirm that this was a very good decision. Right from the start, we were greeted in an extremely friendly manner and the contact persons always supported me quickly and purposefully with organizational problems. Almost all of the professors have experience from their own working lives in business, which they incorporated into their lectures and shared with us. This, together with the case studies, gave us a practical learning experience. The course had a pleasant mix of attendance and distance learning, so that we were able to combine our studies with our jobs. Once a month, we met with our fellow students (groups of 10-15 people) for a weekend of lectures in person. In the first three semesters, I was able to deepen and expand a lot of knowledge from my Bachelor's degree. I particularly liked the focus on marketing, in which I finally wrote my Master's thesis in the 4th semester. I can recommend the MBA in International Business Management to anyone who wants a practical and exciting course of study!"

Daniel Stotz, Branch Manager at Sparkasse Heidelberg:
"The MBA distance learning course is very well organized. It's easy to integrate the course into everyday working life. The student support is really good and very helpful, from the initial contact to the support during the study period. In terms of content, the professors combine theory with practice very well and always bring in their own professional experience from business and industry. The workload and complexity is appropriate for an MBA and is easy to manage thanks to the on-campus courses. I am very impressed by this degree program and can recommend it unconditionally."

Jana Serr, Life-Cycle Manager, MANN+HUMMEL GmbH:
"After my first degree in industrial engineering and a few years of practical experience, it quickly became clear to me that I would like to do another Master's degree. Researching the right subject and the right provider was not easy, as there are numerous different specializations and constellations.
I was therefore happy to take up the university's offer of an information day to find out about the content and the process directly. It was particularly important to me to be able to study easily alongside my job. I was immediately convinced that the university's program would suit me  . The face-to-face events take place about once a month, and preparation for them is done via detailed course notes, which are worked through again by the professors during the event, focusing on the most important content. The content offers a good cross-section of business studies without focusing on one particular area. I found this particularly appealing, as I wanted to broaden my education without specializing.
The small group size of around 14 people is very pleasant for the lectures. It offers sufficient opportunity to exchange ideas with each other, while at the same time allowing for concentrated work. The support provided by the university deserves special mention. Accessibility, organization, flexibility and helpfulness - all this creates an atmosphere in which I really enjoyed studying!"

Florian Holeisen, SAP SE:
"Flexibility, that was an important criterion for me for further education alongside my job. A distance learning course at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society, where I had already completed my first degree, was the best option for me due to the appealing content and a good mix of attendance phases and self-study. Today, at the end of my MBA studies, I can say that my decision was a very good choice for me thanks to practice-oriented professors, great course support and interesting additional offers such as study trips or specialist lectures."

Markus E. , Key Account Manager in a medium-sized company:
"The idea of a Master's degree had been on my mind for a long time. However, the question arose as to how a degree course could be combined with a career and, in particular, with managerial responsibility.
After intensive research, I came across the Master's degree program at Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society and decided to go for it. In retrospect, it can be said that the course is very easy to combine with professional activity due to the good courses and a pleasant group size. There was a very good group atmosphere in my degree programs and contacts were made that are positive both personally and professionally. In short, I would choose this course of study again at any time."

Angelika Fuhrmann, BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH, Mainz:
"I made a conscious decision to study for a Master's degree as I already have many years of professional experience. The MBA distance learning course in Business Administration was ideal for me, as the content provided broad market-oriented know-how and I was able to deepen my in-depth knowledge. I was able to combine my studies, career and family in the best possible way. Of course, you need a high degree of discipline and perseverance."
