Step 1: Register at hochschulstart.de:

First register with the Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung at hochschulstart.de.

Important: Make a note of your BID and BAN - you will need these to register in the university portal.

Please note:   Information on the qualification for university entrance as well as uploaded documents, which you may have added via hochschulstart.de under "My data" in the tab "Fixed application components", will not be considered by the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society. Your application documents will be uploaded to the university's application portal.

Only your personal details will be automatically transferred to the online application at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society. Address changes can also only be made via hochschulstart.de.

Step 2: Register in the university's application portal:

After you have completed the registration at Hochschulstart, you must register in the university's online portal and create an applicant account. 

Note: If you have previously registered via hochschulstart.de, you will need to click on "Daten übernehmen" to import the data you have already entered there after entering your BID and BAN.

You will now be guided step by step through the application process. You can submit three applications of equal rank under one applicant number. As soon as you have submitted the application by clicking on "Submit application", no further changes are possible. Submitted applications initially receive the status "received". You will be informed of any changes to the status of your application by e-mail and referred to the application portal. 

Step 3: Upload your documents to the university's application portal:

Using the individual upload buttons, you can upload the relevant documents. An explanation of which documents need to be uploaded in which area is displayed under the buttons.

Note: Information on which documents you generally have to upload in the application portal can be found under "Documents to be submitted" in the last column on the Overview of study programs page

Please note: Applications with the status "In preparation" can only be submitted in the portal within the application deadline. Submission after the application deadline is no longer possible.
