According to a study by the CHE Center for Higher Education Development, which analyzes the development of dual study programs in all 16 federal states for the first time, dual study programs in Rhineland-Palatinate continue to grow. Since its beginnings in 2008, the number of degree programs has quadrupled to 74. The number of dual students has also increased and currently stands at around 3,500.
According to the CHE analysis, the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society is one of the most popular universities in Rhineland-Palatinate in terms of dual study programs: Looking at the distribution of all dual study programs in Rhineland-Palatinate, the university in Ludwigshafen is in an excellent second place after Koblenz University of Applied Sciences and ahead of Trier University of Applied Sciences with a share of 19.57 percent.
The Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society has a long tradition of dual study programs: the Bachelor's degree program "International Business Administration" (at that time still called "International Business Administration in Practice"), which started in 1995, was the first training-integrated degree program in Rhineland-Palatinate, and the degree program "Health Economics in Practice" can now also look back on almost twenty years of success. Seven dual Bachelor's programs are currently offered in Ludwigshafen:

- Midwifery (B.Sc.)
- International Business Administration (IBA) (B.Sc.)
- International Business Administration and Information Technology (IBAIT) (B.Sc.)
