On April 30, 2024, students on the International Marketing Management Master's course at Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society (HWG LU) visited BASF's Chemovator in Mannheim.
Viola Isele, Junior HR Business Partner at Chemovator and former graduate of the International HR Management and Organization Bachelor's degree course at HWG LU, welcomed the group to the Mannheim site.
Ms. Isele presented Chemovator's various incubation programs to the students and explained how these programs specifically support the venture teams. The support ranges from financial assistance and mentoring to extensive networking opportunities that help the teams turn their innovative ideas into marketable products and services. The participants of the excursions also gained an insight into several successful start-ups supported by the Chemovator. The start-ups focus on three areas: Digitalization, Deep Tech and Sustainability. These examples showed the diversity and innovative strength of the business solutions and business models created in the Chemovator.
"The visit to the Chemovator offers our students a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and learn from the successes and challenges of real start-up projects. This complements the theoretical content of our course perfectly," emphasized Prof. Dr. Christina Stadler, who organized the excursions as part of the "Entrepreneurship and Creativity" course.
