Institute for Management and Innovation (IMI): Results publication of the "Wärmewende" project published

The challenge of energy renovation - a task that concerns millions of homeowners. Expensive energy and legislation create pressure to take care of energy improvements of their own four walls. But a variety of obstacles to implementation make it difficult, including a lack of knowledge, perceived complexity, uncertainty about the right measures to take, availability of expert advice, time-consuming organization, costs & financing, and so on. The aim must therefore be to remove obstacles and provide improved customer-oriented offers and services to make the refurbishment process easier for owners.

On behalf of the Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy and Mobility of Rhineland-Palatinate, the Institute for Management and Innovation (IMI) has conducted a research project to identify options for new or adapted instruments.

The resulting project magazine with background, results and recommendations is available on the IMI homepage available for free download.
