On March 1, 2022, Chancellor Carolin Nöhrbaß received her certificate of appointment from the hands of University President Prof. Dr. Peter Mudra. This means that the lawyer now officially holds the office of Chancellor of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society (HWG LU), which she has held on an interim basis until now.
Now it is official: In the future, Carolin Nöhrbaß will head the university administration as chancellor. The 41-year-old lawyer received the certificate of appointment from the Ministry of Science and Health RLP from the hands of University President Prof. Dr. Peter Mudra on March 1, 2022. Carolin Nöhrbaß had been unanimously elected Chancellor at the Senate meeting on October 20, 2021, and had accepted the office on the same day.
University President Mudra expressed his sincere thanks to Carolin Nöhrbaß for the very good and trusting cooperation so far and emphasized: "These are challenging times, but I am sure that the future leadership, you and my successor Prof. Dr. Gunther Piller, will also jointly lead the university into a good future. Chancellor Nöhrbaß also expressed confidence: "I'm happy that the chancellorship is now officially sealed and look forward to the tasks ahead."
Carolin Nöhrbaß has been at the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences since 2013, first as an assistant to the then chancellor Klaus Eisold, then as legal advisor and deputy chancellor. Since March 2019, Carolin Nöhrbaß has been entrusted with the business of being chancellor, and since March 2022 she has presided over the university's administration as chancellor. The term of office is six years.
