On Saturday, May 14, 2022, this year's University Information Day was a great opportunity for anyone interested to get to know the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society on site. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., prospective students were able to get an idea of the university and its range of courses and explore the campus at Ernst-Boehe-Straße 4 in Ludwigshafen.
The university's four Departments and the Graduate School Rhine-Neckar (GSRN), which is part of the university, provided information about the more than 40 degree programs with a focus on business administration, social sciences and healthcare. The East Asia Institute, the Neustadt Wine Campus, the Student Service Center, the International Office and the General Students' Committee (AStA) also presented themselves. Guests were also attracted by taster lectures, information presentations, a mini Chinese language course and guided tours of the campus. The information events on the Bachelor's degree courses in Marketing, Social Work, Business Administration with a focus on Management, Controlling & Information and International Business Administration with a focus on Management were particularly popular. The guided tours of the campus given by AStA students were also well received.
In total, around 400 interested people, including guests from Lake Constance and Offenburg, took the opportunity to find out about the university and its range of courses directly on site. "We are very pleased that, following the coronavirus-related restrictions of the last two years, we are now able to offer prospective students a largely unconditional presence again and that life is returning to the campus," said University President Prof. Dr. Gunther Piller. According to the President, the return of life to the campus with many offers for students, education and staff is the university's major concern this semester.
Anyone who was unable to make it to the University Information Day on May 14 can still find out more on the landing page for prospective students: All important information for prospective students is summarized in a compact form at https://lust-aufs-studium.hwg-lu.de/.
