New professorship in the Department of Marketing and Human Resource Management
Dr. Lan Cao has been appointed to the professorship of Business Psychology in the Department of Marketing and Human Resource Management, effective September 1, 2023.
Prof. Dr. Lan Cao brings expertise and 10 years of practical experience in diversity management, corporate training and learning, and strategic business development with her move to HWG LU. She was able to gain this knowledge both in international companies and in management consulting. She worked in various positions at TÜV SÜD Academy and TÜV SÜD AG. Prior to that, she spent two years at L.E.K. Consulting GmbH, specializing in growth strategies.
Prof. Dr. Lan Cao studied psychology at the University of Heidelberg and earned her doctorate at Leuphana University Lüneburg on a doctoral scholarship from the university.
Lan Cao's research focuses on international career development, migration and diversity, and corporate learning.
