New professorship in the Department of Marketing and Human Resource Management
Dr. Lan Cao has held the Professorship of Business Psychology in the Department of Marketing and Human Resource Management since September 1, 2023.
With her move to HWG LU, Prof. Dr. Lan Cao brings with her expertise and 10 years of practical experience in the areas of diversity management, corporate training and learning as well as strategic business development. She was able to gain this knowledge both in international companies and in management consulting. She has worked in various positions at TÜV SÜD Akademie and TÜV SÜD AG. Prior to that, she spent two years at L.E.K. Consulting GmbH, specializing in growth strategies.
Prof. Dr. Lan Cao studied psychology at the University of Heidelberg and obtained her doctoral degree at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg as part of a doctoral scholarship from the university.
Lan Cao's research focuses on international career development, migration and diversity as well as corporate learning.
