In October 2021, degree program director Prof. Dr. Gerhard Raab and managing director Kathrin Paul signed a cooperation agreement with Utiligence GmbH from Mannheim for the dual degree program International Business Administration and Information Technology (IBAIT) at Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society.
Utiligence GmbH develops industry-specific software solutions and information technology for the energy and utilities industry. The company's customers include municipal utilities and regional suppliers as well as international corporations and specialized providers of renewable energies.
The BIP program at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society has been combining the advantages of dual studies for more than 25 years. IBAIT students spend a semester abroad at Tongji University in Shanghai.
The special feature of the International Business Administration and Information Technology degree programs is the orientation towards tasks in the cooperating companies and the economy. Interesting, application and practice-oriented lectures alternate with practical phases in the cooperating companies. The course starts on August 1 each year. For the year 2022, two students will be accepted at Utiligence. Applications are now open.
