As a proud member of the EU-funded "Sustainable Horizons" project, which is dedicated to the sustainable and cooperative transformation of education, research and society, HWG LU is strengthening sustainable cooperation within the consortium through joint projects.
In cooperation with Tomas Bata University from Zlín (Czech Republic), a virtual keynote lecture was therefore held on the topic of "Sustainable Finance". Together with consortium partner Senior Lecturer Michaela Blahová, Prof. Dr. Stefanie Hehn, member of the Sustainable Horizons Observatory, presented students from both universities with shared challenges in mixed groups. In addition to the different academic backgrounds of the students, the main focus was on cultural exchange and gaining diverse perspectives.
The success of the impulse lecture and the Sustainable Horizons project is largely linked to the international exchange, knowledge transfer and cooperation achieved between the institutions. The positive feedback from students and initiators underlines the success of the event and demonstrates the need for a sustainable European path.
