"Check":
In this section, you will find recommendations and templates on how to agree and record the admissibility of AI tools in audits based on the declaration of independence. It also explains how AI tools can be identified as aids and how their results can be marked. Even though the section focuses on final theses in particular, we would like to point out that almost all types of examinations are influenced by AI tools. At the end of the section, we have summarized the process in 6 steps and linked 2 text templates.

"Assess":
In this section, you will be given guidance on why competency-based learning outcomes are the basis for being able to assess the impact of AI tools on education and examinations. We also show why you should reflect on your attitude towards AI tools in general and in the respective teaching and examination situation and that it is helpful to create criteria grids for the assessment of examination performance. Finally, we point out that you as an examiner should not include AI tools in the assessment.

"Practice":

In this section, you will receive advice on why, in view of weaknesses and risks, a critically reflective approach to AI tools is necessary and should be practiced. We also explain why it is still useful and necessary to write scientifically despite AI tools. We provide tips on how you can use small exercises to train writing with and without AI tools, how you as a teacher can practice promptly and how you can use different formats to try out different AI tools with your students in education.

"Curriculum development":
In this section, we show why AI tools do not mean "the end of homework", but why AI can and should act as a catalyst for curriculum changes. We also suggest that degree programs use the upcoming program accreditations to adapt their degree programs to the impact of AI tools.
