Numerus Clausus (NC)
A numerus clausus only applies to degree programs that are subject to admission restrictions. Admission-restricted degree programs are degree programs for which only a limited number of study places are available per admission semester.
The Numerus Clausus of a study program is determined by the final grade of the higher education entrance qualification (general higher education entrance qualification, advanced technical college entrance qualification, etc.) of the last applicant admitted. The NC value of a study program is therefore not determined before an application phase, but results from the number of applicants and their prerequisites for studying (e.g. Abitur/Fachhhochschulreife grade point average, number of waiting semesters) depending on the available places at the university.
No forecast for future application procedures can be derived from the results published here. The NC values are only rough orientation values.
