Good reasons for Ludwigshafen

Ludwigshafen am Rhein (approx. 171,000 inhabitants) is a "city on the river" in the heart of the metropolitan area Rhine-Neckar, the dynamic, seventh-largest economic and conurbation area in Germany. Although it is separated from its sister city Mannheim (approx. 327,000 inhabitants) by the Rhine bridge, it is connected by history and urban development.
The university campus is located in the Mundenheim district. The "Große Blies" recreational area with its green spaces and lido begins directly across the street at  .
HWG Ludwigshafen students can live in Mannheim near the water tower, cycle to the university in the morning and spend the evening in Heidelberg's old town, just 15 km away - all just a stone's throw away. Our students not only benefit from the advantages of the practice-oriented HWG Ludwigshafen, i.e. proximity to lecturers, small group sizes, interaction, etc., but can also make use of the advantages of the universities of Mannheim and Heidelberg. These include well-equipped university libraries, extensive sports facilities, various language courses and cultural events.

The quality of the Rhine-Neckar region as a regional and economic location is very high. It is home to major corporate headquarters and therefore potential employers, such as SAP, BASF, Mercedes-Benz plant, John Deere-Werke, HeidelbergCement, Freudenberg, Roche and Bilfinger.
