Quality development

Further development takes place in different ways and in different places. However, it is discussed, reflected upon and documented in quality meetings.

Quality discussions in the area of studies and education are held between the person responsible at degree program level and the head of department. Quality discussions are also held between the head of department and the person responsible at university management level. In the Central units, the quality meetings take place between the head of the respective unit and the person responsible in the university management. Their regular implementation is mandatory. The quality meetings are coordinated by the quality management officer of the respective unit.

The focus of the quality review is either the degree programs, the Department or the respective Central units. The quality review guidelines provide an overview of the objectives, preparation, implementation and follow-up of the quality reviews.

The results of the quality review are recorded in a protocol, which serves as a record of the agreed measures and as a basis for the next quality review.

In addition to the quality meetings and their minutes, formal quality discussions also take place within the framework of the interim and quality reports, as well as informal quality discussions, the results of which are incorporated into statements (e.g. on the quality report) and, if necessary, further documentation (e.g. minutes of meetings).
