Since September 2022, HWG LU is a proud partner in the EU-funded project "Sustainable Horizons". The six consortium universities from all over Europe pursue the goals "to contribute to an inclusive society, to support researchers/academics and practical problem-solving professionals, to respect nature and to adapt to new challenges".The main task of HWG LU in this project will be the development of an "Entrepreneurship and Employability Support Platform".
At the same time, the participation of each university in the work packages of the partners is an important success factor of the project and contributes significantly to the sustainable cooperation within the consortium. Against this background, we are very pleased that Prof. Dr. Stefanie Hehn will support the project with a Board Membership in the Sustainability Sciences Horizon Observatory (SSHE). The Observatory is coordinated by the Universidad de Huelva in Spain and aims to bundle teaching formats and projects in the field of sustainability and make them accessible to all partner universities of the alliance. Other board members of HWG LU are Kerstin Gallenstein as Head of the International Office and Ralf Blasek, Managing Director of the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar.
