Focus on people: "Wagner Family Award" presented for the sixth time

On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, three outstanding theses at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society were awarded the "Wagner Family Award" at a ceremony. The award-winning theses show how professional activities can take people into account and support them. Monika Dumler, Anna-Lena Gerdon, Alicia Schneider and Carolin Adam received this year's sponsorship award, worth a total of 3,500 euros, from the hands of the sponsor, Dr. Dieter Wagner, and his family.

The Wagner Family Sponsorship Award has been presented at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society for the sixth time since 2014: With this award, the donor family around the long-standing Chairman of the University Council and Honorary Senator Dr. Dieter Wagner honors Bachelor's and Master's theses that deal with values and ethical-social behavior in social contexts in an academically sound manner. The award once again highlights the broad spectrum of socially relevant topics that are dealt with at the university. On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, Monika Dumler, Anna-Lena Gerdon and the team of authors Alicia Schneider and Carolin Adam were awarded this year's "Förderpreis der Familie Wagner", worth a total of 3,500 euros, at a ceremony hosted by the Marketing and Human Resources Management Department.
