Poor India or poor Germany after all?
Before our trip to India:
How did we actually imagine India? What will we expect there? Many people in poverty, close family constructs, dirty and noisy cities and a variety of traditions. These were the first thoughts that went through our minds. In addition, people around us said things like, "Please be careful, it's dangerous there," or "What are you doing in India?"
But a deeper understanding, no one had. It was rather one-time encounters with people from India, documentaries, headlines and maybe even prejudices that came to our mind.
When it was clear: WE WILL TRAVEL TO INDIA! the anticipation was great to get to know the culture and the people. At the same time, we also had respect for the unknown....
