***Corona: Important information***
Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society LUBS would like to inform you about activities and useful tipps regarding to the Corona-virus to confirm that you are up to date. At the University a task force was established which collects relevant information and networks closely with all local, regional and national health authorities. Hereinafter you will find an overview of information which is relevant to the public.
Students arriving in Germany from high risk countries are required to stay at their accomodation for 2 weeks before coming to the university and to contact their responsible department. The departments will take care that nobody will experience disadvantages. You will get important information about literature, links and scripts for self-studying. You have the option to dicuss details individually with the responsible contact-persons at the departments.
Furthermore sick persons or persons with symptoms are required to stay at home.
To avoid the spread oft he disease please follow the mentioned recommendations:
- Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap
- Keep your hands away from face, mouth, nose, eyes
- When coughing and sneezing cover mouth and nose with flexed ellbow or tissue and keep away from other persons
- Avoid physical contacts including hand-shaking
- Open the windows of your flat regularly for air circulation
Professors, employees and lecturers coming back to Germany from risk regions are required to contact the responsible department or executive to find individual solutions in cooperation with the human resources department and the staff committee.

Business trips to other countries are allowed except destinations in risk regions:
Before departure to national or international destinations please contact your executive to balance the official interest of the trip and the expected risks. If necessary please cancel your trip in time to avoid additional costs.

For realization of online-lectures an agreement with the department is required.
Currently we are testing Adobe Connect as a transmission medium (up to 200 clients) as an alternative to presence lectures.
We are in close contact with the health autorities and our Ministry for Health continiously.
