The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is a joint institution of German universities. Its mission is to promote academic relations with foreign countries, primarily through the exchange of students, graduates and scientists, as well as through structurally designed programs in the form of project funding.
Around 750 talented students applied for the above-mentioned program this year. Since only a limited number of scholarships are available, a selection is made on the basis of the application documents and a selection interview. This is done by a selection committee consisting primarily of university professors and senior scientists at non-university research institutions. Prof. Dr. Weinert, who represents International Human Resource Management at Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences, was again appointed as a DAAD reviewer. We are pleased with him about this responsible task.
